Frank W. Terrizzi---professional biography

Frank W. Terrizzi has more than 30 years of professional experience in the investment management industry.

From 1978 until 1995, he served as President of Renaissance Investment Management, a Cincinnati-based Investment Advisor which he co-founded.  He developed Renaissance’s Tactical Asset Allocation investment strategy that served as the springboard to grow assets under management from less than $5 million to more than $1.8 billion. While at Renaissance, Frank and Renaissance were featured in The Wall Street Journal, Institutional Investor magazine, Pensions & Investment Age and numerous local media outlets including newspapers, radio and television. Frank was also a frequent guest speaker at industry seminars and conferences. In 1995, Renaissance sold a majority interest in itself to Affiliated Managers Group, a Boston-based publicly-traded consolidator of mid-sized investment management firms. Frank remained with Renaissance as a Managing Director for five years thru November 2000. Thereafter, he “retired” from the firm and, in accordance with a non-compete agreement, was a private investor for the following two years.

From mid-1973 until he co-founded Renaissance, Frank worked at C/B Financial Counsel as Director of Research and at C/B’s parent organization The Central Trust Company in Cincinnati as a Senior Trust Officer where he managed large institutional portfolios.

Frank’s professional career began at Scudder, Stevens and Clark in Cincinnati in 1968 where he managed individual and institutional portfolios, consulted with clients and created and directed a local small company research effort.
